About

I have always been an innovator, a creative problem-solver.

As a child, I was drawn to writing because it allowed me to easily convey a message and express myself creatively.  I became a nurse because I sought a "stable" career to support myself.  However, after six years working in education and healthcare, I made the decision to quit my job as a nurse because it was destroying my mental and physical health.

Becoming a technical writer has been a scary and uncertain journey, but it was something I knew I had to pursue.  Although change is scary, even more terrifying is the idea of staying the same.  I'm finally pursuing a career I've always been passionate about and fits my strengths as a person.

My growth as a writer has played a significant role in my current journey to self-discovery.
